Through Michigan State University, I am completing a fifth-year internship during which I student-teach for two semesters. The first semester I taught in a 2nd - 5th-grade resource room. I took over as the lead teacher in late October and then phased out in December. In January, I started student teaching in a fourth-grade general education classroom. I anticipate taking over as lead teacher in late March. During the internship year, I am also taking graduate classes that complemented the internship experience.
